South Africa Cricket Players
Andre Nel (born 15 July 1977, Germiston, Transvaal) is a South African cricketer who has played 15 Tests and 43 ODIs as a fast bowler. Nel has been involved in a number of controversies both on and off the field, as he has been fined for obscene language and for ICC Code of Conduct breaches during his career. He also drove under the influence of alcohol during a tour with South Africa A in Australia. However, his cricket performances have yielded 62 Test wickets at a bowling average of 25.45 the third lowest bowling average of bowlers with more than 50 Test wickets since South Africa rejoined international cricket in 1992.
